About the role:
The Operations Manager will play an important role within the Centre Management team by managing the overall operations, maintenance, and smooth running of this popular shopping centre.
Duties:
You will oversee all aspects of hard and soft services, contractor induction and management, OH&S, preventative, and reactive maintenance, as well as providing support for OPEX and CAPEX budget management. You will deliver small projects, assist tenancy coordination, and provide overall operational support to the team.
Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience as a Facilities or Operations Manager in a shopping centre
- Or Assistant Operations/Facilities Manager looking to take that step up into a more senior position
- The ability to communicate with others and work in a team environment is critical
- Computer and financial reporting literacy
- Qualifications in Facilities Management, Engineering or Building Services Trade are expected
- Strong knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety, Compliance and Risk
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritise at a high level
- A passion for retail property and shopping centres
