CASUAL TRAINER AND ASSESSOR – BUSINESS
REIWA is Western Australia's real estate institute. We exist to make the selling, leasing and buying of property as simple as possible for all Western Australians.
We are a membership organisation representing over 1,100 agencies and more than 80 per cent of operating real estate agents in WA.
REIWA offers a wide range of services:
- We operate the real estate portal reiwa.com to provide a place where sellers, tenants, buyers and agents can connect.
- We represent the real estate industry in WA and lobby the Government on legislative change to maintain the health of our industry and ensure a good environment to buy, sell or rent property.
- We offer up-to-date market intelligence and advice on all aspects of the WA property market.
- We offer relevant training, events and networking opportunities for agents.
REIWA’s trainers are highly regarded and respected within the WA real estate industry. REIWA is currently seeking to recruit additional experienced vocational Trainers and Assessors on a casual basis. Ideally you will have hands on experience as a real estate professional and be able to apply this expertise to develop upcoming real estate professionals.
In this position you will be expected to assess and deliver BSB Units of Competency at the Diploma level and contextualise it to the real estate industry. To be successful in this role, business expertise is required in the areas of staff management and business management.
- To be successful in this role, you will have
- Hold a minimum of Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110, including TAELLN411 and TAEASS502), or TAE40116.
- Hold a current WA real estate license, or registration.
- Have current industry skills and experience managing the performance of operational teams in the real estate industry including:
- The performance management process
- Planning and implementing, including agency systems and processes
- Agency KPIs
- Coaching and mentoring operational teams
- Have strong administration skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Participate in the development and validation of assessment tools and course materials in accordance with training package requirements.
- Have experience in conducting training and/or group training (desirable).
- Have experience using an online Learning Management System (desirable).
- Understand the requirements of training and assessment as per the Standards for RTOs 2015 (desirable).
